What the cleanup changes
- Single line breaks inside a paragraph become spaces; blank lines remain paragraph breaks.
- Words such as
pack-followed byagingare rejoined when hyphen repair is enabled. - Bullets, numbered items, and obvious all-caps headings stay on separate lines.
- Repeated-line removal uses exact text matches and is off by default so meaningful content is not silently removed.
FAQ
Does this upload my text or PDF?
No. This version cleans pasted text entirely in your browser.
Will every hyphen be removed?
No. Only a hyphen at the end of a wrapped line followed by a lowercase continuation is rejoined. Review technical terms and intentional hyphenation.
Can it read scanned PDFs?
Not in this version. Copy OCR text from your existing PDF or scanning software, then paste it here for cleanup.
