Decimal and binary units are both shown
Storage makers commonly use decimal units: 1 GB = 1,000 MB. Operating systems often report binary units: 1 GiB = 1,024 MiB. This planner displays both so the plan can match the limit or device you are working with.
Formula: file size in bytes = bitrate in bits/second × duration in seconds ÷ 8. Real transfers may take longer because of connection variability and protocol overhead.
